Introduction to Alexander Technique
Saturday 2 September 10:30am – 4:30pm
The Alexander Technique is a re-education of the way you move and use your body in everyday activities, a way to help recover some of the natural, stress–free movement you enjoyed as a small child.
In this introductory workshop, led by Satyadevi, you will learn how unhelpful postural patterns and misuse of your body can be prevented, so your body can once again become a delightful play of natural forces working in harmony with gravity.
Once you learn the Alexander Technique, the new awareness gained can be applied to whatever you are doing.
Cost: $60 (waged) / $40 (low income)
Bring vegetarian food for a shared lunch, and wear warm, comfortable loose fitting clothing.
